They were referred to us by The Exterior Painters of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and we couldn’t be happier with both companies. First, the Ackerman team showed up exactly when they said they would. They did a fantastic job with the gutter installation, and their cleanup was just as impressive. Normally, after a contractor leaves, I can always find something that needs to be cleaned up or taken care of afterward—but these guys were completely on point. I actually waited for a good rainstorm before writing this review because I wanted to see how the new gutters performed. I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve seen our outside walls stay completely bone dry during a heavy rain. I ended up choosing Ackerman even though they were about $800 more than another well-known company in the area, and after seeing the finished product, I’m glad I did. Jacob, the main installer, honestly could have been in sales because he really knows his stuff. Super personable, easy to work with, and his attention to detail was impressive. I’m extremely picky when it comes to work being done on my house, and he did a fantastic job. One of the deciding factors for me was the way Ackerman does their corners and bonding. After comparing them to others, I felt their system was just superior, and seeing it installed confirmed that for me. The entire crew was polite, courteous, professional, and just genuinely nice to have around. You can tell Ackerman has a great culture within the company, and I think that translates directly into the quality of their work. Jason and Seth did a fantastic job adressing all of our concerns and made install day go as smooth as possible. They were very professional and clean. Which was very important to us. Our experience was great starting from our first interaction. The gentleman that did the measuring and quoting was very respectful and accommodating to all that we needed. The price was very reasonable and fair for the quality of work.The office receptionist was very kind over the phone and helped me with my sample color questions and scheduling The gutters have given our house a clean fresh look. A special callout to Rob in working with us on adding a new downspout by our front porch. This required a bit of patience and creativity as it didn’t have the standard wall/corner to align with. Joseph Wilseck33 days agoHad some gutter guards done in the spring by these folks. From first phone call to the sales person to the installation crew, all a positive experience. I also didn't have to sell a kidney to afford them ,unlike the brand on TV every 10 minutes. I noticed a small drip in a couple spots coming from my gutters and called. They sent Jacob out with a crew in a few days from my first phone call. My gutters aren't very old and I wish I had gotten them from Ackerman,but live and learn. Jacob was first rate as was everyone I have dealt with. Had another very positive encounter today with Ackerman, from the front office to the technicians. They utilize technology such as texts, electronic communications and links not as a replacement but, rather, an enhancement to good old fashioned (excellent) customer service and quality workmanship. My first point of contact was Sandy, who took the time to patiently answer my questions, explain the process and schedule an in person consultation to estimate the work. Eric was my estimator and took great care to explain the scope of work and address my concerns about the prior gutter installation. He was able to provide me with a simple yet thorough printed estimate of the scope of work on the spot. There were no high pressure tactics to hire the company. Upon hiring Ackerman, no up front deposits were required. They take all payment forms. Brendan was my lead installer. He was clear, kind and respectful. Brendan went above and beyond by making a few changes to the existing system to make it more efficient. I couldn’t be more pleased with every step of this project. Eric Wadell was extremely helpful and thorough during the quoting process. He took the time to answer all of my questions, explain the materials and installation details, and make sure we understood our options before making a decision. On installation day, Brendan Hingst and the crew were professional, friendly, and respectful of our property. Brendan took time at the beginning of the job to walk through everything with us and make sure we were all on the same page. The crew worked steadily throughout the day and kept the yard and work areas clean and picked up as they went. There were also several areas that required some extra attention and problem solving, and I was especially impressed with how they handled those. Around our porch, the downspout needed to be shaped and routed carefully so that it would function properly while still looking good. They took the time to discuss the different options with us and made sure we were comfortable with the solution. They also worked through an area near the chimney to help improve water flow. I really appreciated their attention to the smaller details as well. They trimmed back some long decorative grasses where needed so they could do the best installation, and even replaced a couple of rusty fascia nails to improve the finished appearance. Those may seem like little things, but they showed me that the crew cared about how the entire job looked when they were finished. We put a lot of thought into choosing a gutter company, and we are very happy that we chose Ackerman. From Eric’s communication and thoroughness during the estimate process to Brendan and the crew’s workmanship and attention to detail on installation day, the entire experience was excellent. After some problems with the first installation, this crew worked very hard on getting everything I wanted done the correct way. CTMAS46 days agoWe had our gutters done today by Ackerman Seamless Gutter Systems, and I have to say we are extremely impressed! Eric, our salesman, was professional, knowledgeable, and spot-on from the very beginning. Jason and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would and went above and beyond to make sure our entire gutter system was done right. Jason and his crew definitely have a gift when it comes to handling tight turns, difficult areas, and unique situations and still making everything look clean and professional. We had a couple of challenging areas on our house, and Jason was able to correct them with his knowledge, experience, skill, and craftsmanship. You can definitely tell these guys know what they're doing. Once they removed the old gutters, they also found a couple of issues that needed attention. They took care of everything without any complaints or hassle and made sure the job was done properly. Their workmanship is 150% outstanding. Everything looks perfect, and their cleanup afterward was impeccable. You would hardly know they had been here other than the fact that we now have a beautiful new seamless gutter system! Our house is fairly large, and the entire job was around $6,000. We were also able to finance through GreenSky for around $100 a month, which made it very convenient. On top of that, their 20-year and 7-year warranty coverage really helps make the whole investment feel worthwhile. I have absolutely no complaints. Very professional company, A1 workmanship, excellent crew, and great communication from start to finish. Today they came to replace the actual gutters and I am really happy. They were clean, organized, punctual and in target. We had gutter guards installed on our home by them about 3 years ago. I noticed that one of the gutters was overflowing when it rained so I called their Utica office to explain the problem. The woman I talked to was very polite and said someone would come out and take a look at it. Three days later Brendan and his crew came out and fixed the problem…….no charge. Called to have some downspouts reinforced…company came out quickly to quote and set appointment for install. Jason made me aware when he was on his way and was friendly and neat. The only downsize was that when picking the shade with salesman, it was a cloudy day so the color does not match and is quite noticeable. Jeff Wummel150 days agoThe estimator was very professional and polite, provided a clear & detailed estimate, good price, their office provided good communication, the installation crew showed up when they said they would, respected our property by setting up their work area away from residents, careful with removal of old gutters and protecting the existing soffit and facia boards, caulked the old holes in the facia, replaces a rotted piece of facia, nice installation, the crew chief inspected everything when done, thorough cleanup of all debris, all crew members were friendly and easy to talk to.Posted on Google

Shoutout to Nate in sales for keeping it simple and setting expectations clearly. Really impressed with the crew. Jason was very professional. He kept things organized and tidy. My sales rep Nate was very educated and Jacob led the team to make my job go well this was their second time out to my house as they kindly rescheduled when the rain was too bad out of precautions of harming my grass. Jacob went above and beyond help some unique situations that arose. I am very grateful and I can’t wait for it to start raining so that I can test out my new 6 inch Gutters. Jack showed up on time for providing the estimate, we had a gutter blow almost all the way off during the storms and I called back, they had a crew in the area and was able to come take it down almost immediately. This was all in the processing of accepting the estimate. Once we scheduled out apt the day of Jason and his crew showed up early and completed the project within the estimated time. Had a small hiccup with the change from 5" to 6" but Rob made sure I was completely satisfied. The installation went very smoothly & I was extremely satisfied .
